I graduated from the Suncoast center in Tampa, Florida in 1985, practiced my skills in Florida and enhanced and further developed in Berkley Springs at the spas and resorts.

After moving to Lake Ridge and opening our clinic I realized the demand and need of a quality professional massage training and opened the Piedmont School of Professional Massage in 1995.

Piedmont School has graduated students each year since then with the option of being part of our growing team.

Renate Grooms
School Business Administrator

Born and raised in Germany, I finished college with a business degree. I moved to the States in the early 90's.

While raising my children, I was a german teacher and taught kids for 3 years at a private school. Today, as I have been for fourteen years, I teach microwave and nutrition classes to adults. I strongly believe staying healthy and taking care of your body is very important.

I work at Piedmont school in the administrative field and enjoy learning with the students more about the body. I am honored to be part of the great faculty.
